Why I Created Infinite Scroll

I created Infinite Scroll because, as a Gen Z person, I truly believe I was raised in the era of the internet.

In many ways, the internet and I grew up together. It has always been there—shaping how I learn, communicate, entertain myself, and understand the world. Because of that, I never really questioned having constant access to it. Being online felt normal.

Over time, however, I started to realize just how much of my life was actually being spent online.

The internet is one of the greatest inventions of our time. It has connected people across the world, made information accessible to almost everyone, and created opportunities that previous generations could only imagine.

But there is another side to it.

As Gen Z, many of us have become deeply attached to the habit of scrolling. Every day, I consumed endless amounts of content without stopping to think about how it was shaping my habits, ideas, opinions, and even the way I viewed myself.

The more I thought about it, the more questions I had.

How is social media changing the way we think?

What is constant access to information doing to our attention spans?

Why does scrolling often feel productive, even when it isn’t?

And how do technologies like AI fit into all of this?

Infinite Scroll is my attempt to explore these questions.

This website is not about having all the answers. It’s a place for curiosity, reflection, and honest conversations about the internet, social media, AI, and modern life.

As a Gen Z person growing up in a world designed to keep us scrolling, I want to better understand the technologies that shape us—and maybe help others do the same.

Welcome to Infinite Scroll.
